The Property

Surrounded by the vineyards of the Côtes de Luberon, lies a small hamlet within the borough of Gordes, Villa Dæsch: an oasis in the ´golden´ triangle of Gordes, Ménerbes and Bonnieux. The light in this region is amazing and has attracted artists for centuries, who have attempted to capture that light on canvas.

Gordes is famous for being one of the most beautiful villages in France. Villa Dæsch is located just outside the village so you will experience no pressure from the tourists who visit from all over the world.

It really is a perfect spot to start discovering the Provence. Just half an hour drive from the Papal and festival town of Avignon and only minutes away from famous places like L’Isle sur la Sorgue, Fontaine de Vaucluse, Lacoste, Oppède-le-Vieux, Lourmarin, Saignon and Roussillon.

Andrew van Esch and Edvard Daamen found their second home in this fascinating region. A home they would like to share with you.

Villa Dæsch consists of several buildings situated behind a high wall in the centre of the hamlet. The original house dates from 1629 and whilst preserving its historic façade, inside has been tastefully and sympathetically renovated to give the comforts associated with the 21st century. Connoisseurs will enjoy the eclectic combination of the contemporary and the antique. We hope the photos will inspire you to join us in this good life.
